These collaborations aim to provide secure, resilient, and independent timing infrastructure, addressing vulnerabilities in traditional GNSS-based systems, the company said. Pulsar satellites broadcast time with nanosecond accuracy from LEO, offering enhanced performance even in challenging environments. Testing and demonstrations are ongoing, with active field deployments scheduled to commence in late 2026.

HERE and Samsara Partner to Enhance Fleet Operations

HERE Technologies and Samsara IOT 5.02%↑ announced a new partnership to provide advanced mapping and geolocation capabilities for fleets and logistics operations. The collaboration integrates HERE’s mapping data and services directly into Samsara’s connected operations platform, giving businesses better real-time visibility into their fleet.

Trimble Launches First GNSS Spoofing Protection for GPS and BeiDou

Trimble TRMB 2.69%↑ has introduced RTX-NMA, the first solution to protect GPS and BeiDou satellite signals from spoofing, enhancing the security and integrity of navigation messages for all Trimble ProPoint receivers. The technology detects fake signals and faulty ephemeris data in real time, uses advanced cryptographic techniques, and works with various Trimble receivers without a subscription, the company said. Combined with Galileo OSNMA, Trimble RTX-NMA now provides protection across three satellite constellations, offering users greater reliability, security, and confidence in their GNSS data.

In other company news, Trimble announced today that the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will adopt its Trimble Unity software to manage more than 26,000 lane miles of roads, 3,000 bridges, 50 rest areas and tens of thousands of additional assets ranging from signs and guardrails to culverts and retaining walls.
