Airtel, Swift Navigation Launch India’s First Cloud-Based Centimeter-Accuracy Positioning Service

Airtel Business has announced it is partnering with Swift Navigation to launch “Airtel-Skylark,” an AI/ML-powered, cloud-based positioning service delivering centimeter-level accuracy, claiming up to 100× improvement over standard GNSS. The service will leverage Airtel’s pan-India 4G/5G network, combined with Skylark’s GNSS correction infrastructure, to support mission-critical applications such as autonomous vehicles, tolling, fleet management, emergency response and digital mapping, the companies say.
