Radar has announced the launch of its “Location OS,” a unified AI-powered geolocation platform designed to help enterprises manage fraud, customer engagement, logistics, and operations from a single interface, the company said.

The stack includes three main modules — Engage, Protect, and Optimize — built on Radar’s existing geofencing and maps infrastructure, which already supports more than 300 billion API calls annually across 300 million devices. A description of each product:
- Radar Engage: A location-based marketing solution to engage users with personalized real-time messaging when they enter geofences or visit places.
- Radar Protect: A geo-compliance and anti-fraud solution with a customizable fraud rules engine and ChatGPT-style AI report builder.
- Radar Optimize: A pickup, delivery, and arrival detection solution.
CEO Nick Patrick said location will be “the most important signal of the next decade,” and positioned the OS as a modern alternative to legacy geolocation tools.
Radar has raised more than $85 million in funding for its geofencing and location technology platform, with its latest funding round being a $55 million Series C led by Insight Partners in February 2022. Other notable investors include Accel and Two Sigma Ventures. Some of the company’s customers include DICK’S Sporting Goods, T-Mobile T 1.06%↑, Inspire Brands, and bet365.
