Apogee Wins $103.6 Million Contract to Support U.S. Military PNT Programs

Since Location Business News’ last deadline, Apogee Engineering has been awarded a $103.6 million contract to provide engineering, technical and program management support for U.S. military positioning, navigation and timing missions. The work will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Global Positioning Systems Directorate, which oversees the development, acquisition and sustainment of GPS capabilities for military and civilian users.

Under the contract, Apogee will assist with systems engineering, integration, testing and operational support for GPS and related PNT programs. The company said the award reinforces its role in helping the Department of Defense maintain resilient navigation and timing capabilities as threats from jamming and spoofing continue to grow.

The contract comes as the U.S. military increases investment in resilient PNT technologies and GPS modernization efforts, including M-Code deployment and alternative navigation systems designed to operate in contested environments. Apogee’s work is expected to contribute to ongoing efforts to strengthen the reliability and security of critical navigation infrastructure for defense operations.

The work centers on GPS technologies that underpin U.S. military operations, allied forces, and critical infrastructure. Apogee will deliver technical expertise and mission support across Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, and Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, working in collaboration with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center to advance next-generation PNT solutions and improve system performance and reliability.
