Topcon Rolls Out Geomatics Division, Showcases Next-Gen Scanning Ecosystem at INTERGEO

Topcon Positioning Systems is launching a new dedicated Geomatics Sales Unit to deliver high-precision hardware, software, and services under a unified business structure focused on geospatial and surveying workflows.

At INTERGEO 2025 this week in Frankfurt, Germany, the company unveiled new scanning tools—including handheld, backpack, and terrestrial scanners—alongside an integrated software platform that bridges field capture with GIS, BIM and CAD environments.

The CR-H1 handheld mapping solution uses iPhone Pro devices with integrated lidar (Topcon Positioning Systems).

Industry veteran Neil Vancans, head of the new unit, said the offerings will help professionals “work smarter by streamlining workflows, boosting collaboration, and simplifying digital transformation.”

Topcon said foundational tools like its Collage and ClearEdge software, combined with cloud connectors and hybrid positioning updates, will provide seamless, connected mass-data workflows for mixed fleets and diverse sensor ecosystems.
