Geotab announced the launch of its next-generation GO and GO Plus telematics devices Wednesday at the Geotab Connect 2026 conference. The new hardware offers high-precision data capture, native Bluetooth integration, and enhanced tamper protection to provide fleets with deeper diagnostics and improved security, the company said.

The advanced GO Plus model is engineered for complex environments, featuring satellite-ready tracking and integrated Wi-Fi hotspots to ensure continuous connectivity in remote areas. These devices are designed to power AI-driven insights and will be available in North America during the second quarter of 2026, with a global rollout to follow.

Topcon Secures Early Access to Xona’s Satellite Navigation Service

Topcon Positioning Systems signed a commercial agreement Thursday with Xona to obtain early-adopter access to its Pulsar low-Earth orbit satellite navigation constellation. The partnership allows Topcon to integrate the high-precision Pulsar service into its future positioning workflows, targeting sectors such as construction, geomatics and agriculture.

By leveraging these satellites, Topcon aims to provide customers with stronger signal performance and improved resiliency against jamming and spoofing in challenging environments, the company said. TomTom Joins Precisely’s Data Link Program to Boost Pre-Linked Data Ecosystem

TomTom has joined Precisely’s Data Link program, enabling easier integration of its map and street data with complementary datasets from other providers. TomTom’s solutions support applications like transportation efficiency, traffic management and urban planning, which gain added context when paired with Precisely’s data, the company said. Kapsch TrafficCom Launches Software-Defined Platform for Connected Vehicle Tolling

Kapsch TrafficCom introduced its unified connected tolling platform recently at the 5G Automotive Association meeting, demonstrating a significant shift toward software-defined traffic management. The new system is the first to simultaneously process tolling transactions from both 5G network-based V2X and 5.9GHz direct-communication hardware in a live environment.

Inertial Labs and Viavi Solutions Launch Satellite-Aided Navigation System for GPS-Denied Zones

Inertial Labs, a Viavi Solutions VIAV -3.12%↓ company, has introduced a new navigation system that uses low-Earth orbit satellite signals to maintain location accuracy when traditional GPS is unavailable. The platform, called IRINS, combines inertial sensors with LEO satellite data to provide a resilient positioning solution for military and commercial autonomous platforms.

Razor Tracking has announced that its fleet management software has integrated with John Deere Operations Center to provide enhanced visibility for construction equipment and support vehicles. The two-way integration allows customers to monitor John Deere Construction DE -2.38%↓ telematics alongside other assets in a single unified platform, the company said.

Anello Photonics, Delta Black Partner on GPS-Denied Navigation for Drones

Anello Photonics and Delta Black Aerospace announced a partnership to integrate high-performance inertial navigation technology into uncrewed aircraft systems intended to operate where GPS signals are unavailable or unreliable. The collaboration will pair Anello’s Silicon Photonics Optical Gyroscope-based navigation systems with Delta Black’s mission-focused UAS platforms to provide assured position, navigation and timing in contested environments. Reelables has introduced a new Smart Label Indoor Tracking solution that uses Bluetooth Low Energy and real-time location system technology to deliver indoor positioning accuracy of up to 10 centimeters. Myriota has launched AssetHawk, a rugged asset tracker designed to provide global visibility for equipment, vehicles and unpowered assets beyond the reach of cellular networks.
