HERE Partners with EROAD, Receives Certification
HERE Technologies and EROAD have expanded their partnership to launch a vehicle-aware navigation app for fleets in Australia and New Zealand. Built on HERE’s WeGo Pro app, and leveraging EROAD’s telematics, the app delivers truck-specific routing by accounting for vehicle dimensions, cargo type, and road restrictions, the companies say.

In other company news, HERE has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification, becoming the first digital mapping and location technology company to meet the standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), the company said.

NextNav and First Due Integrate 3D Vertical Location
NextNav NN -8.31%↓ has partnered with First Due to integrate its vertical positioning and 3D visualization capabilities into emergency response software, enabling incident commanders to plot personnel not only horizontally but also by floor level inside multi-story buildings. The enhancement embeds a real-time wireframe view of buildings into First Due’s Incident Command and Response platform, giving teams precise vertical location data even in complex environments, the company said. The rollout begins in the United States and supports fire and EMS agencies in high-rise urban areas, where traditional 2D tracking can hamper situational awareness during emergencies

HawkEye 360 Upgrades GNSS Interference Detection Suite with Spoofing Intelligence
HawkEye 360 has launched an enhanced version of its GNSS Interference (GNSS-I) Detection product suite, offering defense and intelligence agencies a 15-fold increase in geolocation density and new spoofing detection capabilities, the company said. The upgrade introduces a wide-frequency algorithm, terrain-adjusted modeling and global coverage to more accurately pinpoint GPS jammers and spoofers.

HawkEye 360 officials say the improved system vastly expands situational awareness in GPS-contested or denied environments, enabling faster identification and neutralization of threats before they disrupt missions.

Safran Demonstrates Europe’s First LEO-PNT Capability with Synchrocube Payload
Safran Space has successfully launched Synchrocube, the first European payload to demonstrate low Earth orbit positioning, navigation and timing (LEO-PNT), aboard the Pandora satellite. Developed by Safran’s SYRLINKS brand, the system delivers ultra-precise time references from low orbit, designed to operate even during GNSS jamming, enhancing the resilience of critical infrastructure such a telecommunications, energy, and finance. The project, backed by France-Relance and CNES, also marks Safran’s expansion into end-to-end PNT solutions, integrating both payload and ground segment.
