Parkopedia and Hyundai AutoEver have demonstrated Europe’s first seamless end-to-end in-car navigation service that guides drivers directly to a specific indoor parking space, electric vehicle charger or designated zone using high-definition indoor maps.
The new Indoor Maps service eliminates the common break in navigation at parking garage entrances by combining Parkopedia’s precise 3D point-cloud mapping with Hyundai AutoEver’s vehicle integration, delivering continuous guidance even when traditional GPS signals are unavailable underground or indoors.

In a statement, Parkopedia Chief Product Officer Duncan Licence said: “We are pleased that Hyundai AutoEver has proven that our Indoor Maps service can be successfully integrated into its vehicles and highly valued by its users. We are committed to making cities more livable, with this technology contributing immensely to end-to-end multi-modal travel and seamless mobility across a variety of everyday use cases.”
The technology also future-proofs fleets for Automated Valet Parking and higher levels of autonomy while linking to Parkopedia’s EV charging database to streamline parking and charging in one journey. Parkopedia has already mapped 18 of Europe’s 25 busiest airports and is expanding coverage across the continent and into North America, beginning with the San Francisco Bay Area.
New AI-driven tools and computer vision algorithms have accelerated indoor map creation, enabling Parkopedia to rapidly add thousands of spaces at major mobility hubs including airports, train stations and shopping centers.
