Progressive and Cambridge Mobile Telematics Launch Real-Time Crash Detection for Drivers
Progressive Insurance $PGR has teamed up with Cambridge Mobile Telematics to introduce “Accident Response,” a service that detects crashes in real time using telematics data from connected devices. The system can alert Progressive immediately after a collision, potentially speeding up claims support and emergency response for customers.

Policyholders who opt in may benefit from faster service because the technology helps verify the crash and gauge its severity. Progressive says the program aims to improve safety and customer experience by responding quickly when accidents happen.

Unibird Launches Breakthrough Battlefield Navigation System
UNIBIRD has unveiled the N200 VIO navigation module, designed to provide secure, resilient positioning in GPS-denied or contested environments, the company said. The system combines low-probability-of-intercept signals with anti-jamming and anti-spoofing technology to maintain accurate navigation even under threat, the company said.

On modern battlefields, traditional GPS navigation is disabled by electronic warfare, causing drones to lose control or crash—responsible for up to 75 percent of drone losses and reducing mission success rates to as low as 10 percent, the company said. The company highlighted strong demand from global defense clients, positioning this product as a game-changer in tactical and strategic operations.
