Topcon Positioning Systems this week announced a 200-geodetic station expansion of its Topnet Live across the United States. The company says the expansion allows it to support such additional market areas as automated turf management, precision line marking, imaging systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) mapping and delivery operations.
Mainly, the targeted industries include those the company says require centimeter accuracy: engineering, surveying, construction and agricultural sectors. “With these latest additions and our efforts throughout 2024, we have grown Topnet Live total coverage by 30 percent in the U.S said,” Jason Killpack, Topcon Emerging Business director of business development.
So far, Topnet Live has been expanded globally for GNSS corrections and data markets in Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe.
