TrustPoint Wins Space Force Contract for GPS-Independent Navigation Demonstration

TrustPoint said it has secured a $4 million contract from the U.S. Space Force to demonstrate a GPS-independent positioning, navigation and timing system using low-Earth orbit satellites. The award, issued through SpaceWERX and jointly funded by the Small Business Innovation Research program and the Commercial Space Office, will support deployment of four satellites and four ground stations for an end-to-end navigation demonstration. The company said the system is designed to provide resilient navigation in contested environments where GPS signals may be jammed or denied, using C-band signals and a software-defined architecture capable of on-demand reconfiguration.

HERE Launches AI Navigation Tool to Improve Final Delivery Handoffs

HERE Technologies unveiled its AI-powered HERE Last Meter Guidance designed to help delivery drivers navigate the final stage of deliveries more accurately and efficiently. The system combines artificial intelligence, location intelligence and visual positioning technology to guide drivers from the street directly to entrances, loading docks or drop-off points, reducing failed deliveries and delays.

HERE’s new Last Meter Guidance helps delivery drivers navigate during the last stages of deliveries (HERE Technologies).

The company said the platform addresses a growing challenge in e-commerce and urban logistics, where drivers often lose time locating exact delivery points in dense apartment complexes, office buildings and campuses. HERE said the technology integrates with existing navigation systems and provides contextual guidance through mobile devices and fleet applications.

Telit Cinterion, Swift Navigation Expand Partnership for Integrated IoT Positioning

Telit Cinterion and Swift Navigation have announced an expanded partnership to bundle Swift’s Skylark precise positioning service into Telit Cinterion’s GNSS modules and cellular connectivity offerings for IoT applications. The integrated solution is designed to provide sub-meter positioning accuracy for devices such as asset trackers and drones without requiring traditional RTK infrastructure.

The companies said the offering combines dual-frequency GNSS hardware, cellular connectivity and Skylark Dx correction data into a single package, simplifying deployment and reducing integration complexity for IoT developers. The service is currently available in Europe and North America.

Septentrio Launches GNSS Module

Septentrio has launched the mosaic-G5 P8, which features ultimate resilience (AIM+ ultimate) and jamming and spoofing protection with real time interference awareness.
In addition, the module features advanced spoofing detection and integrity monitoring.

Septentrio’s new mosiac-G5 P8 (Septentrio).

Septentrio says the module also features a faster response to GNSS threats, early interference detection with deep RF insights such as power levels and frequency impact. Some markets include marine, rail and mission-critical PNT applications, the company said.

Earlier in the month, Septentrio launched its mosaic-G5 P6 multi-frequency precise positioning module. This receiver, measuring only 23 mm by 16 mm, weighs as little as 2.2 grams, the company said.

U-blox Launches Automotive GNSS Modules for Autonomous Driving Applications

Thalwil, Switzerland-based u-blox introduced its ZED-X20K and ZED-A20K automotive GNSS modules, designed to provide lane-level positioning accuracy for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving applications. The company said the modules support dual-band GNSS, dead reckoning and Precise Point Positioning correction services to maintain reliable positioning in challenging urban and highway environments.

U-blox rolled out two new automotive GNSS modules (u-blox).

The modules are built to meet automotive safety and cybersecurity requirements and are intended for use in automated driving systems, intelligent transportation and vehicle navigation platforms. u-blox said the products also integrate anti-jamming and anti-spoofing protections to improve resilience against interference and signal manipulation.

Onocoy Launches Feature Providing Free RTK Corrections to Station Operators

Onocoy has announced the launch of Loopback, a new platform feature that routes quality-assured Real-Time Kinematic correction data back to reference station operators’ own devices at no additional cost. The decentralized GNSS network designed the tool to eliminate the need for self-hosted infrastructure, allowing operators to deliver production-grade correction streams to up to three field devices simultaneously.

The validated stream has two destinations: enterprise data clients who purchase GNSS reference station data through Onocoy’s Pay-Per-Use model (Onocoy).

By integrating this feature, professionals in precision agriculture, surveying and drone operations can utilize their own station’s validated data without consuming network data credits, the company said. Company officials said the update directly rewards infrastructure contributors by removing subscription barriers and simplifying centimeter-level positioning workflows.
