HERE Technologies Integrates German Transit Data to Provide Real-Time Truck Parking Updates

HERE Technologies has integrated real-time parking data into its professional navigation application to help commercial truck drivers find available spaces along Germany’s highway network. The company incorporated data from Toll Collect’s parking information service, which utilizes anonymized metrics from the German highway toll system to continuously calculate space utilization.

HERE Technologies has integrated data from Toll Collect’s parking information service into HERE WeGo Pro (HERE Technologies).

By embedding these live updates directly into the HERE WeGo Pro application, the platform allows logistics operators and drivers to identify open parking bays well before arriving at a rest stop. The system is designed to streamline route planning across Europe, reducing the roadside stress and unnecessary detour traffic that frequently occur as commercial operators rush to comply with strict mandatory rest regulations.

Hexagon-Novatel Rolls Out Dual-Antenna Receiver

Hexagon-Novatel has launched the Robust Dual-Antenna Receiver (RoDAR) that protects against both narrowband and wideband jamming and provides spoofing resiliency – all by generating up to two spatial nulls using a dual-antenna receiver and a single dual-polarised antenna, the company said. Users receiver future enhancements by downloading new firmware releases for aerospace, defence, and critical infrastructure solution, the company said.

With interference protection at the receiver and using a dual-polarised antenna, RoDAR is the company’s lowest SWaP solution and protects against narrowband and wideband jamming.

Connected-Car Firm Parkopedia Debuts AI Data Tool to Combat Driver Charging Anxiety

Parkopedia has launched an advanced software interface designed to help automotive manufacturers steer electric vehicle drivers away from broken or congested public charging stations. The data platform integrates directly into factory navigation systems to address “charging anxiety,” which industry data now identifies as the primary barrier to mainstream electric vehicle adoption over traditional driving ranges. The software tackles this infrastructure gap by providing vehicle dashboards with real-time transparency tools, including predictive hourly occupancy models and dynamic letter grades from A to F evaluating a station’s operational success rate.
