Autocar to Install Geotab Devices in All Trucks

Autocar, a manufacturer of specialized vocational trucks, announced plans to install Geotab GO devices in all of its trucks, aiming to enhance fleet uptime and provide greater data insights. The company, who did not reveal contract details, said the move will allow for improved vehicle diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and optimized route planning.

The integration of Geotab’s telematics technology will offer Autocar customers real-time data on vehicle performance, location, and driver behavior. This data is expected to help fleet managers make informed decisions, reducing downtime and increasing operational efficiency, the company said. Autocar officials stated that the partnership with Geotab reflects the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technology to its customers.
