Sheeva.AI Partners With Sunoco to Launch In-Vehicle Fuel Payments Across North America

Sheeva.AI this week announced a partnership with Sunoco to deploy its SheevaConnect platform at more than 5,700 Sunoco retail fuel locations across North America, aiming to streamline the fueling process through connected vehicle technology.

The SheevaConnect platform uses patented geolocation technology to enable drivers to pay for fuel and access services directly from their vehicle’s infotainment system, the company said. By eliminating the need for mobile apps, QR codes or additional hardware, the system identifies the vehicle’s pump location and automates authorization and payment for a seamless experience, the company said.

Sheeva.AI and Sunoco will integrate SheevaConnect in 5,700 North American stations (Sunoco).

“Our platform was designed to simplify and transform the way drivers interact with services like fueling while hitting the road,” said Evgeny Klochikhin, CEO and founder of Sheeva.AI, in a statement. He said the partnership will also help Sunoco modernize the customer experience through integrated payments and rewards.

The collaboration marks Sheeva.AI’s latest expansion following a successful rollout in India, where it partnered with Stellantis to enable fueling services in select Citroën models. The company is continuing to scale its platform with services for electric vehicle charging, car washes, parking and tolling—and has mapped over 3 million service points globally.

The in-vehicle payments and rewards system is expected to launch at Sunoco stations this summer. Sheeva.AI said it is working with multiple automakers and aims to have its technology available in more than 1 million vehicles by the end of 2025.
