Point One, Cellnex Team Up to Expand Precise Positioning Network in Europe

Announcement follows large roll outs in Europe with Totem and Orange…

Point One Navigation and Cellnex Telecom announced a partnership to accelerate the deployment of centimeter-accurate positioning infrastructure across Europe using Point One’s real-time kinematic (RTK) correction network and Cellnex’s telecommunications sites. The collaboration will extend high-precision positioning services in six countries including Italy, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

The companies said the expanded network aims to support advanced applications in autonomous vehicles, robotics, logistics and other sectors where standard GPS accuracy is insufficient. Executives highlighted that combining Point One’s RTK technology with Cellnex’s open neutral-host infrastructure will help drive the next wave of industrial and mobility innovation.

This partnership will be showcased at the Cellnex Booth (Hall 4 – Booth 4C50) and Point One’s Booth (Hall 6 Booth 6F14) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Point One).

The deal follows Point One’s $35 million Series C funding round in November 2025, led by Khosla Ventures with participation from IA Ventures, UP Partners and Alumni Ventures, pushing the San Francisco-based startup’s valuation to $230 million. The capital is earmarked for infrastructure expansion, software development and OEM integrations, building on total funding of about $65 million since 2016 to fuel growth in high-precision location tech for connected devices.

Point One has forged several other key partnerships in recent months, including a tie-up with Totem and Orange S.A. in October 2025 to deploy Europe’s largest GNSS correction network using Totem’s towers and Orange’s connectivity across France and Spain. The company’s Polaris RTK network, now spanning the U.S., Europe and Australia, processes billions of location fixes daily, the company said.
