Telit Cinterion Expands Satellite Navigation Portfolio for IoT Devices

Telit Cinterion has announced the expansion of its dual-band navigation portfolio Monday with the introduction of two new modules designed for scalable internet of things positioning. The ultra-compact SE873K5-D provides high-precision tracking for power-constrained wearables and drones, while the high-end SE869eK5-DRK offers centimeter-level accuracy for mission-critical applications. Both modules utilize advanced chipset technology to maintain continuous positioning in challenging environments like tunnels or dense urban areas where traditional satellite signals may be obstructed, the company said. The company plans to begin mass production of the new hardware in the second quarter of 2026 following successful engineering validation tests.

U-blox Unveils Ultra-Low Power Satellite Navigation Platform for Wearables

Thalwil, Switzerland-based u-blox announced the launch of its F11 platform Tuesday, a new dual-band satellite navigation system designed to cut power consumption for consumer and industrial devices. The platform uses a “situationally aware” architecture that dynamically switches between frequency bands to maintain meter-level accuracy while using as little as 7 milliwatts of power, the company said.

This efficiency aims to extend battery life for high-volume products such as fitness wearables, asset trackers, and micromobility solutions. The company said the first products based on the F11 platform are expected to be available by the end of June.

Hexagon Launches Multi-Frequency GNSS Anti-Jam Antenna for Aircraft

HexagonNovAtel announced the launch of its GAJT-AE3 antenna, which is designed to protect airborne platforms from increasingly sophisticated satellite signal jamming. The system is the first of its kind to offer full multi-constellation and multi-frequency protection, ensuring reliable navigation for drones and complex weapons systems in contested environments, the company said.

By creating digital “nulls” in the direction of interference, the antenna can mitigate multiple jammers simultaneously to maintain precise timing and positioning data. The compact unit is now commercially available and can be integrated with existing GNSS receivers to provide immediate resilience against modern electronic warfare threats, the company said.

Topcon Introduces New Construction and Safety Innovations at CONEXPO 2026

Topcon Positioning Systems has announced a suite of new 3D machine control and geomatics technologies at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas. The updates include AI-driven safety cameras for blind-spot detection and “Hybrid Lock” software that prevents downtime by seamlessly switching between satellite and robotic tracking on job sites, the company said.

Spirent Launches New Tool to Simulate Real-World Satellite Signals in Lab

Spirent Communications, part of Keysight Technologies KEYS 0.78%↑, has announced the launch of SimXTRACT, a tool designed to bridge the gap between field and laboratory testing for satellite navigation systems. The solution allows engineers to take real-world signals captured in the field and break them down into discrete components that can be accurately recreated in a controlled lab environment. This approach is intended to accelerate development cycles for positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) devices by providing higher realism and repeatability during the testing process.
