Hexagon | NovAtel Launches GAJT-310

Hexagon | NovAtel has rolled out its newest product in the GNSS Anti-Jam Technology (GAJT) with the launch of the GAJT-310. The GAJT line is a battle-proven solution for assured PNT that protects against hostile radio frequency interference, the company said.

Features include protection on the L1 and L2 bands, integrated enclosure or federated option with separate electronics card and CRPA (Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna), the company said.

u-blox Rolls Out LEAP GNSS Chip

Thalwil, Switzerland –based u-blox has launched the UBX-M10150-CC, a low power GNSS chip for wearable apps geared to running, cycling or open water swimming, the company said. The chip offers Low Energy Accurate Positioning (LEAP) technology.

The UBX-M10150-CC measures 2.39 by 2.39 millimeters. The unit features multipath mitigation technology to leverage signals from the L1 band, the company said.

Sheeva.AI Demonstrates First In-Car EV Charging Session in Japan

Sheeva.AI and its partners recently activated the first EV in-car charging session in Japan. The SheevaConnect platform identified and activated the session, using its precise location technology and OCPI-based API-to-API communication, the company said.

Working on the demonstration with Sheeva.AI was PLUGO and Hagiwara Electronics Co. The demonstration took place at a Tokyo meeting with more than 20 in-vehicle payment partners attending, the company said.

Nordic Thingy:91 X Allows Cellular IoT and Wi-Fi Location

Nordic Semiconductor has launches its Thingy:91 X for LTE-M, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi SSID location, DECT NR+, and GNSS applications. The Thingy:91 X simplifies the IoT prototyping process for developers through its suite of onboard features, the company said.

Cavli Wireless Launches IoT Modules

Cavli Wireless has rolled out its CQ10 and CQ20 LTE Cat 1/Cat 4 cellular IoT modules with 2G fallback. The CQ10 and CQ20 modules feature high data transfer capabilities, an optional integrated eSIM and built-in GNSS, the company said.

The modules leverage Qualcomm‘s $QCOM Location Suite Gen8C Lite for such tracking applications as asset tracking and vehicle telematics. The modules are also tailored for real-time equipment tracking, predictive maintenance, the company said.

Fleet Management Systems in the Americas to Reach 43 Million by 2028

The number of fleet management systems deployed in commercial vehicle fleets in North America was 17.4 million in Q4-2023, according to a new report, Fleet Management in the Americas, from Berg Insight. Growing at an 11.9 percent, this number is expected to reach 30.5 million by 2028, the report said. GeotabVerizon Connect VZ 0.57%↑ and Samsara IOT -0.76%↓ are the leading fleet telematics providers in the Latin America region, the company said.
